Greetings From Taiwan!

I know it's been a while.. but I am now set up in new studio from Kaohsiung, in Taiwan.

I am hoping the amazing sites and buzzing culture will bring lots of inspiration and I'm very excited!

Over the next week, I will post some of the things I have been up to work wise, also travelling and discovering wise.

So the first stop was Dubai, I have never experienced anywhere so hot in all my life! We spent our days in the cold water pool and went exploring at night (in the air conditioned malls!). I absolutely loved it and if I got the chance to go again I definitely would. It was a shopaholics dream and I was very happy to discover McQueen! (a poet and I don't even know it)

Whilst In Dubai, I was asked by Sketchbook Magazine to create their monthly 'Sketchbook Scribble' for September. I obviously jumped at the opportunity and created a few for them. The brief being emerging designers in fashion and so the idea was to pay homage to the one and only Anna Wintour.

I also designed a few others with the theme in mind..

Flash Trash

Always trying new things and this week, my interests have veered onto jewellery! Not just any jewellery - Flash Trash! I recently fell in love with all their quirky, fun pieces and so gave me the idea to turn some of their collection into illustrations!

New Merch!

New week.. new work!

Initially this was drawn to be a single peacock feather as a tattoo idea, it has now developed into a print and made into some new Vicky Ink. merchandise! 

I've been looking at getting some clothing and scarves printed so watch this space! I'm sure this print would make an excellent scarf!
